By the Old Patrol Chef
The next time your Patrol is hankering for a hearty breakfast, try this one.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Maple flavored syrup, per scout
1 tsp Mustard
1 tbs Margarine
8 each Canadian style bacon, thin sliced
4 each Muffins, english, sliced
1 can Pineapple slices, drained (8 1/2 oz)
Hardware:
Skillet
Pancake Turner
Knife
Can Opener
Pot
Preparation/Cooking Time: 1/2 hour
Serves 8
Heat syrup and mustard together. Put aside. Melt the margarine in a skillet and brown bacon on both sides. Place two browned bacon slices on each English muffin half. Top each half with a pineapple slice, pour combination syrup and mustard mix over all, and serve with additional maple syrup.
Note: This is a power breakfast needed by active Patrol members and will last them until lunch.
